I bet most of you saw this coming since 20 out of say ~20000 members (minus banned/inactive/others that signed and didn't like the d/l app rule/pitty votes (you know who you are ), etc) is pretty weak and I been monitoring the number of d/ls and that was weak too but I wouldn't have finished this project for a couple years anyway thinking about it. Release Notes (PLEASE READ) This is a mini-project of mine, first off thanks to AMS from Saizen for the ok of letting me use their SD releases. The cantonese audio is from R3 DVDs and is encoded into vorbis for consistency sake (Saizen's Japanese audio is also vorbis) and all I did was mux in the cantonese audio into Saizen's releases and everything else was left alone. All I changed was correcting the CRC and added PA next to Saizen in the filename so that for those who already have their releases can differentiate between the two. I did think about doing this last year with my source along with -ANF-'s subs but the R3's video quality was shit with glitches in most of the episodes so in the end I decided to do it this way and of course its all thanks to saizen that this is possible, thanks guys ^^. I am also only going to post this here in PA so I don't care what you do with this (and any other of my files I upped in fact) or where you repost it to ,etc, such as this is the life of the internet. But it doesn't mean effort wasn't involved in this as it was fucking torture to resync the audio with the video, I won't go into the details of how but long story short it took me ages. With this said I like to just make sure quite a number of the members are actually interested in this and would likely continue to get these releases as I wouldn't like to make the effort to do this just for the small number that actually wants it as this does seriously take me ages to re-sync. So I would like the members who are actually interested to vote on the poll (Yes, I am using JD too but I can see some nut constantly clicking on the attachment so this would be of no use). So for the first episode the cantonese audio is definately all in sync (check kara if you don't believe me) but I cannot guarantee this in future episodes due to the different raw me and Saizen used and also I am not sure whether the R3 DVDs have any scenes cutted in future episodes. But this is the definate version to archive especially if your a fan of the series (.... seriously get rid of that eye cancer rmvb shit from your HD) and watch the cantonese version when your a kid and both audios have their merits like I noticed iin some instances how poorly dubbed the japanese audio was since it didn't match the lip movements on the video whereas the cantonese version did. Also in the japanese version there is the classic "do'ahou" phase from Rukawa which you probably won't get a lol from in the cantonese version and as a note the "English Subs" is synced with the japanese audio so turn them off if you decide to watch the cantonese version, its all soft-subbed. Adding to this with the japanese I can understand, some of the stuff they say is completely different to what they say in the cantonese version so the subs definately won't help. I was thinking of doing english subs for it and adding chinese subs but in the end I didn't see the point since this would just take me much longer. If you have problems watching this then remove any codec packs you have (k-lite?? and other lone codecs save RM alternative if you watch any TVB series) and install the CCCP or CoreAVC and fuck VLC. If you want to watch this on a PS3/XBOX 360 either use mkv2vob (quick) to transcode or xvid4psp (slow but lets you convert to other formats too) or stream using tversity or PS3 media server and all these are freeware save CoreAVC. Episode 1 ================================================== Expect next episode next week/month but depends on how lazy I am and of course I can't release what Saizen hasn't released yet so bear that in mind. Just for your info, It's going to work like this; I upload to a host and give you the .dlc file then you download it using JD then make a torrent and post both the .dlc and torrent here in this thread, I will make changes to the main thread accordingly or if you one of the mods even better ^_^. Plus those that grab the DDL instead can also help with seeding, thats the plan ( ´∀`). Episode 2 ================================================== Expect 3 in a few hours and note there was a scene cut in this epsiode and I didn't expect this to happen so soon and so this is the reason why I took so long. Scene cut was ~8s in the R3 DVDS and lucky there wasn't any background music and the conservations were simple so this allowed me to make massive edits in these 8s. The cut started @ 6:27 and ended @ 6.35, this is what was done during those 8s (everything else in the episode was fine so its just this): - - @ the start the stairs and door opening sfx was ripped from the Japanese audio. - Haruko voice calling Hanamichi and Rukawa taken from later in this episode and placed here (I couldn't find where Haruko says stop it or no since in the Japanese version Haruko says "Hanamichi, stop it!" and I don't intend to re-watch all the DVDs to find it so I thought Haruko calling both Hanamichi and Rukawa would be a good replacement). - Hanamichi calling Haruko was taken from a later episode. - The trio surprised by Haruko's entrance said something like the cast is complete in the Japanese audio and I thought about leaving this part in silence implicating shock/surprised but since there was a suitable bit eariler this episode I used that instead. There is a slight bit of background music here when that particular line was said but I tried removing that as best I can and you probably won't notice unless you were listening very carefully As a note, I will continue this project for the 12 episodes released by saizen so far and in the end I will check the poll and decide whether or not this project is worth ongoing. Also any future scene cuts will most probably left silent if they are too hard to edit but there are none in the next lot of episodes as far as I am aware. Take note as well JD has been recently updated if your unaware and so the guide is obselete, I will update that tonight but seriously JD is not difficult and is more easier than going onto the hosting site itself so you shouldn't have any problems.
