Better known as the elder son of Canto-pop legend Sam Hui, Ryan Hui is actually a talented singer-songwriter in his own right. The former frontman of the punk-rock band One Foot Forward later went solo and released his debut solo EP in 2006. More than three years later, the rocker has a new EP out, this time enlisting popular musicians like Eric Kowk, Jun Kung, and Ngai Sum of RubberBand for production duties. The EP has seven songs, including the title track Transformer, main plug "The World Not in Chaos", and the romantic number "Born a Couple", which is dedicated to his soon-to-be-married younger brother, Scott.
