I wasn't sure if this should go under Chinese or Japanese movies, but since the director is Chinese and the story takes place in China, I went with China.

This movie hasn't got as much press as other Chinese movies, but this is Zhang Yimou. I haven't had a chance to watch it yet, but I have scanned through it and the quality is good. Language is Japanese with English subtitles. It's about a father travelling to China to film a local artist (I can't remember what, maybe opera singer?) in order to repair his relationship with his son who is dying of liver cancer.

Here it is, reuploaded to megaupload. Sorry if this is not the preferred upload site, but it's better than nothing. At least there's not twenty different files to download.

Use HJ Split to join the files.

    Enjoy!
