Blending song and dance with magic performance, Magic 1+1 is unlike any boy band the pop world has ever seen. The ingenious idol unit is the latest project from renowned Taiwan entertainment agency J-Star Office, who in the last 10 years has orchestrated the success stories of pop groups like 5566 and 183Club. Consisting of handsome and experienced magicians Da-Da, Bryan, and Kai with an average age of 20, Magic 1+1 has more than a few tricks up their sleeves, as obvious in their debut EP released towards the end of 2009. The EP contains their titular ballad Eyes Wide Open and two catchy dance numbers, but perhaps the main attraction lies in the DVD, which showcases the unique charm of the magic boys in the enchanting Eyes Wide Open music video.
