Singer-songwriter Khalil Fong fuses Chinese and Western cultures together in his latest album Journey to the West, the first album released under his independent music brand Fu Music. The songs are written in four languages, including Chinese, English, Mongolian and Korean. The two-disc release includes both the Black and Gold versions of Journey to the West, each with ten new songs. The Black Version features songs in modern styles. Khalil works with The Blessed Choir from New York for the hip-hop and rock-style Wu Kong. Leehom Wang also joins the singer-songwriter's music project in Flow, a hip-hop and rock jam blended with traditional Chinese music styles. The Gold Version contains classic ballads, including the R&B-style love song "Que Sera" featuring Mandopop diva Jane Zhang and "Unforgiveable" written by hip-hop duo Fama's C Kwan.
