You may not have heard of Fiona Fung before, but you most probably have listened to her voice on TV or on the silver screen. Long before she decided to come into the spotlight as a "newcomer" singer, the talented young musician was already an active player behind the pop music scene, singing TV commercial tunes, blockbuster movie and idol drama theme songs, as well as providing lyrics for other singers. In 2003, Fiona received some well-deserved recognition with a housing estate commercial song titled "Proud of You". Sung in English, the tune later became a huge hit when it was remade by Joey Yung into the Cantonese version "My Pride", which swept the "Song of the Year" awards at several music awards that year. This indirectly paved the way for Fiona's inevitable jump to the forefront. In 2008, Sony BMG signed her, and her debut album A Little Love arrived in November of that year.
