Last time Don Li had a music release, it was his 2007 album christened after his real name "Li Wai Lok". In 2009, the Hong Kong singer/actor decided to move northward to pursue a career in television, and he can be seen in the hit Mainland idol drama Zhang Xiao Wu De Chun Tian. Taking a break from his acting works, the EEG star has come up with his Mandarin EP titled For My Dearest. This time, Don has participated in many aspects of the production, from determining the style and choosing songs to the album cover design and music video direction; he also left his fingerprints in the lyrics. Uniformly using single-word titles, the five songs on the EP are about a romantic relationship in its different stages, like infatuation, separation, reunion, and finally enlightenment.
