After the well-received trilogy of [ting] (2008), Listen & Listen Hok-E (2009), and Trinity (2011), Hong Kong singer Bondy Chiu again pours her heart, soul, and purse into her fourth self-financed audiophile album Chanteur. This time, the production crew boasts the reinforcement of producers Harris Ho and Dennie Wong, saxophonists Blaine Whittaker and Tom Nunan, besides the familiar musicians that worked on the previous outings.

Bondy tackles seven pop classics on Chanteur, including Leo Ku's "Enjoy Yourself Tonight", Joey Yung's "Avoid You", Eason Chan's "Elimination", and Madonna's Crazy for You. The Japan-pressed HQCD album also features three original new songs, namely "Moonlight Serenade" which is tailored for her by Chet Lam and "Wanna Sing a Song for You" by Eman Lam, as well as Bondy's closing theme song for her 2010 GDTV drama, "Only Wanna Be Together Again".
