Baek Ji Young follows up last year's Sensibility with her new mini album, Ego. Its principal song "Candy to My Ears" (Track 1) sees her collaborating with Taec Yeon from 2PM, and extending her spectrum to European electronic pop. She teams up with songwriter-producer Hitman Bang who also wrote Baek's top ballads "Like Being Hit By A Bullet" and "Is Love A Sin?", but this time "Candy to My Ears" is a dance number. In the song's music video, Baek appears in a tomboyish look, unfolding her dancing queen charisma next to Taec Yeon.
