Guide on downloading ANY direct download!

Now that I got your attention, please read on...

Prologue: You know, I really want to put up a icon flag on this thread, but since it includes any digital music so I didn't bother doing that. I read this trick off a PC magazine in HK. You can use it to find ANY direct download to digital music files. (And no, it's not a typo)

Alright, enough prologue, time to get to the details...
Go to Google, and insert the following code

Code:

-inurl:(htm|html|php) intitle:"index of" +"last modified" +"parent directory" +description +size +(wma|mp3) "XXXXXX"  (replace XXXXXX with a singer's name or music name)

Just for those who don't trust me, or think it only works on certain language but not the others, I run 1 result with chinese song and 1 with english song
Chinese song (不如不見):

Code:

English song (Graduation) code:

If you're smart enough, you can tweak the codings to get a more refined result, but the basic will do for most of us.

I also have the problem to use the code. I insert it in the Google search field. It doesn't work.

 

I wonder does this only work for music/mp3s? I was wondering if some tweaking and changes I can find avi etc too?

 

You have to replace the "XXXXXX" at the end of the code with something that you want

any idea of the code for full albums??
usually when i try mp3 or wma i get singles
when i change it to rar i gives me stuff i dont want
so any idea? to change wma mp3 or rar?

 

I did a mistake. I inserted the wrong name. Hence it doesen't work.

 

it doesnt work for every song...some of them it says i dont have permission to access and some there were no results

 

Does this simply search for filenames with the string or does google's search engine search the tags as well?
