You may or may not have heard of her yet, but in about two months, you definitely will. She's the newest singer to sign under the avex label (home of Ayumi Hamasaki, Tohoshinki etc.) and this is her debut Chinese album. If you check out her Japanese official site at avex, you'll get a preview of her debut Japanese single to arrive in November, but already there's a lot of hype building up on her. She was trained with the Chinese opera, thus in the Japanese single preview on the site, you get to hear her sing those really high pitched notes. In this Chinese album, sadly, she doesn't show-off her high-pitched vocals that much, but it's still a pretty good debut album. Oh, and she comes from Tibet too, so you get that sort of traditional Chinese music sort of sound from her too. Think of Wang Lee Hom's "chinked out" style in his Shangri-La album, but with a female voice. * The names in the brackets at the end of track names are the original singers, as this is a cover album.
