In July 2009, the Chinese J-pop singer released her first major Mandarin album "Orient of the Heart", which included mostly remakes of her Japanese hits. This time, backed by her Taiwanese producer Benjamin Lin and Japanese producer Kikuchi Kazuhito, alan returns with a Mandarin mini-album with more original materials, some of which courtesy of alan herself! Titled Love Moon Light, the 7-track collection includes the main plug "My Moonlight", upbeat pop number "It's Fine With Me", and the Mandarin version of the title song of her second J-pop album, my life. The bonus DVD contains 4 music videos.
