Mainland Chinese actress Crystal Liu (劉亦菲) has long since been praised for her mild and ladylike temperament, as well as her goddess-like beauty. Recently, reporters uncovered details about her stepfather’s vast wealth, which afforded Crystal a privileged upbringing and the family an enormous Beijing residence.

Located in the Shunyi district of Beijing, Crystal’s home is an estimated 4000-5000 square meters, about the size of four soccer fields. The backyard alone is the size of a single soccer field and is also equipped with a pavilion and other buildings intended for relaxation. Media reports have additionally stated that the family owns seven large hunting dogs.

Furthermore, in order to support Crystal’s hobbies and professional interests, her family spared no expense in constructing a specialized dance practice studio and a music room. Her mother and stepfather also forked over 1.8 million RMB to hold Crystal’s coming-of-age ceremony at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing, which is primarily used to house important foreign guests.

In addition to her Beijing home, Crystal reportedly owns a lakeside villa in Suzhou as well.

    Crystal’s Early Years

Born in 1987, Crystal learned dance from her mother Liu Xiaoli (劉曉莉), a professional dancer and stage performer. Crystal debuted as a child model at the age of eight, and that same year, she won first place at a modeling competition for children’s apparel.

Just two years later, however, her parents’ marriage fell apart and ended in divorce. Her mother brought Crystal to the United States so that she could receive a better education. Though she struggled with the transition at first due to her inability to speak English, Crystal successfully completed her middle school years there before returning to mainland China to pursue an entertainment career. It is rumored that she still owns a two-story white-brick mansion in the United States, complete with an underground garage.

hmm never knew she was rich. Even a better thing if she's a lady :). Too many mainland kids that are rich are super spoiled. I remember college where I met a few internationals...rich as fuck lol. Bought a house near campus and got like a car.

And then another one whom his parents bought him a WRX and he drove his friends back and forth between a hot pot restaurant and paid for his friends
