if its on free weight's i'd definitly try to correct them because it's dangerous... if it's machine, probably not so much... machines have the benefit of being safer in that it's harder to hurt urself and/or others... too much resistance or long repetitive sets have different uses, neither of which are "wrong"... u want high resistance with minimum reps for strength building and long repetitions for muscle gain... so again it depends on what ur working for...
well if what they're doing is so blatantly wrong.... i'd correct them xD but i did had to correct some younger kids when i was an teacher's assistant for karate... they didnt like it but took my advice and did some good roundhouse kicks
i dont think the machines would hurt you unless their total idiots then maybe lol but yeah free weights if you see anyone about to hurt themselves, you should inform them cause they can seriously get hurt i mean i see this happening and i correct the ppl at the gym they may be offended but its for their own good if you tell them so i recommend telling them
i would tell the person but im too shy...so ya i want to but can't lol........ serioulsy working out is dangerous too..u can hurt urself have rong postures
lol yer, its kinda embarrassing telling them that unless they're gunna get injured, so thats why u tell a guard thingy so they can tell them ^^
you do karate??? could work u in for my taekwondo session to c if I'm doing it rite ( ubetter wear protective gear ) it is the way u tell them that is important...if you see that they might hurt themselves, u might go over fast and show them, but also to leave quickly so they do feel they are been " supervised"...u also have to tell them that they could hurt themselves if they dont do it right...if they want to know more, then they would ask.
it's ok to correct people who are exercising improperly when i KNOW they'll get hurt. i won't correct anyone other than my friends when i only THINK they might hurt themselves or their form is bad. i personally don't mind getting advice or being corrected by other people, but some people bring their egos to the gym and hate it when strangers (who may be right) give them advice. sidenote: my trainer told me to ignore the people at the gym, cause they're probably not doing their exercises correctly.
i wouldnt do it...not just cuz i dun really know that much abt exercising butta... i dunno whenever im in the gym i just do my thing n dont talk to ppl... the gym i go to is really small n lots of times im there by myself which i realllly do prefer
