Converter DVD to RMVB format

    Can i know wht software to convert DVD to RMVB format

    Use winavi, that converts almost evrything.

    why wud u want to convert to rmvb? real is such a shit format, the other way round i can understand

    I do agree with you why converting DVD to Real because one can watch DVD on TV and PC. Real is not too bad to watch on PC, also the file size is much smaller then DVD.
     
  6. yea I don't see why people like to convert ep. to rm.... i think wmv get about a pretty compression to image quality... plus rm just seems like a hassle... =/

    rm always seems to me to offer best qual to size, from what ive always downloaded
     
  8. that's cuz everyone just converts to rm.... seems to be the codec of choice for asians for some reason...

    Yeah i notice that, even anime subbed in chinese are mostly rm. Why don't they ever use any other formats...

    I think it's because it was the 1st format that gave a small filesize and it's just stuck with them

    when do u they gonna move out of the stone ages and embrace betta formats like xvid/h264?

    I need to change into rmvb as i cannot save DVD format into my PC as limited space. :(
     
  13. who woulda known the first person to rip TVB drama's to .rm would revolutionize the whole BT transfer.. -lol
     
  14. yea there's quite a bit of hype with the h264.. but dunno how good of converters out there to change it back to dvd...

    Hard disk is very cheap now (about £30 for a 80GB disk in UK) so add a second disk (internal) to your PC.

    even better 250GB for £60 or even better than that Seagates 7200.10 750GB monster drive (dunno the exact cost, best not to say anyway)

    Wow u people serious about £60 for a 250gb, guess i might as well add another hard drive on my computer, but then again there's loads of free space on this computer so no point.

    I have 2 seagates 320gb each Sata-2, 640 gb total. got it for 199 at newegg.
