Recently I have went to a few colleges and tour their facilities and dorm rooms. OMG! can't believe some of the rooms are small and have no air conditioners! Some feel like those illegal rooms in the basements. And they charge so much per year. Share your stories.
u always hear these "fun" and "interesting" stories from college dorms... =P if u can imagine it, it happens lol
^OH YEAH definitely, VERY interesting stories ive heard dorm rooms are always small, either in the city or suburb, but some in the city are apartment style so they're slightly bigger than the ones in the suburb, & they have independent bathrooms! which is very very good..most of them are old buildings cant expect too much, one of the worst i've seen..the bathroom is shared by many & it's so disgusting---flies are having a big gathering on top of piled trash! the room itself is just so small to fit everything (for one) im def not paying 10000+ for a small room which i'll have no privacy at all. oh yeah some of they don have AC...
Heard a pretty funny story from a fellow PC builder. She was sleeping in her dorm with the door unlocked for whatever reason and a drunk dude stumbles into her room (guys and girls are live on different floors of the building so he shouldn't even be on that floor), knocks her computer over, and pukes in it and runs off.
Who care if the room is big or small .. you won't be staying your room all the time anyway .. prob out clubbing, studying in the lounge or library, over at friends' place off campus .. dorm is served as a social hub for those newbies .. not meant for your to stay in day and night .. if you want privacy .. stay off campus. I remember back in the days .. only RA has his/her own bathroom .. the rest gotta share .. don't expect to much .. just have fun in college.
