Shying away from the public eye after taking a hiatus from the entertainment industry since 2013, Christine Kuo (苟芸慧) made a rare appearance while attending a Lunar New Year promotional event yesterday. Although Christine was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and gained immense weight, she has steadily regained her health and figure. While on stage, reporters noticed that the 33-year-old actress was wearing a ring on her ring finger. Christine was immediately teased about whether there is good news to announce. However, she clarified that the ring was sponsored jewelry and because of the sizing, she had to wear it on her ring finger. With many of her good friends, including Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣), Eliza Sam (岑麗香), and Grace Wong (王君馨) getting married one after another, is Christine getting antsy as well? Instead of answering directly, Christine merely said she hoped to focus on her jewelry design business and added, “This year, I want to focus more on my family and my own health.” She will also be designing wedding rings for several of her friends who are getting married. When asked how many carats she hopes her engagement ring to be, Christine said, “No need! I’ll be happy with a drawing of a heart!” Vincent Wong (王浩信), who attended the event alongside Christine, lamented that the last time he saw her was when they were filming for the TVB series, Over Run Over <EU超時任務>.
