Former Hong Kong actress Chingmy Yau (邱淑貞) was recently seen driving her teenage daughter Sham Yuet (沈月) to and back from school with a bright red Ferrari worth at least $3 million HKD earlier. Chingmy Yau and her daughter were also seen shopping at the family’s I.T store in Causeway Bay. When they discovered the paparazzi, Chingmy Yau told her daughter to snap a photo of the stalking reporters with her own phone. Turning 14 years old, Sham Yuet is allegedly going through her rebellious streak. Sharing her mother’s beauty, it was said that Chingmy Yau feared that her daughter may be secretly dating. To watch over Sham Yuet and prevent her from making mistakes, Chingmy Yau took on the role as the daily chauffer, bringing her daughter to and back from school every day to watch Sham Yuet’s every move. Due to Chingmy Yau’s strict parenting, reports claimed that Sham Yuet did not like to confide to her mother about her own personal problems, taking toll on their relationship. To cheer her daughter up, Chingmy Yau convinced her husband to pull strings in order to have their daughter meet with the K-pop star G-Dragon, Sham Yuet’s favorite idol, at an awards ceremony after-party last November.
