Sky Ladder a pyrotechnic artwork by Cai Guoqiang, a Chinese contemporary artist currently living and working in New York City. Cai is best known for using gunpowder in his spectacular works.
That was so clever ~ I wonder how high it went up? Very pretty and it was cool how it didn't disperse straight away so you could still make out the ladder pretty clearly.
Nam mo There's a another video that shows the top. For those who don't know it's just a string hung up, with firecrackers along the rope tied into the shape of a ladder.
