Artist Chin Ka Lok (錢嘉樂) welcomed the newest member of his family this morning when his wife Angela Tong (湯盈盈) had actually kicked him awake at midnight when her contractions started stating that he had to immediately get ready and grab the emergency travel bag, flying down the road to the hospital plus calling the hospital and anesthetist of their pending arrival. Within 45 minutes of being situated in the maternity ward, a healthy baby girl was born. Ka Lok joked and said his baby was such a good girl already, she knew Daddy had to attend the Hong Kong Stuntman Association in the morning, so she decided to announce her arrival first. Ka Lok revealed that his baby girl weighed in at 6lbs 15oz, and it was speculated before that the baby would be born premature and he was thinking if it would be such a coincidence of being born on the 23rd, which actually did happen. The doctors praised Ka Lok for being a natural when it came to cutting the umbilical cord, and was asked if Ka Lok would consider having more children? "Would you like to have more?" ~ "I'll have to ask the wife" "Who does the baby resemble more?" ~ (laughs) "I just think that the baby looks more like me, but don't let Angela know hear that, otherwise she'll be a bit upset." I think this is when science comes into play. Is it ethical for gender selection for your baby? Personally, I'll let the first few as natural.. but if I'm desperate for another gender, then I'd consider it if I didn't get it in the first few tries.
