Backed by East Asia Music, Cherry Wong is a freshman in the 2008 Canto-pop scene with considerable talent and experience. She emerged from a district youth singing contest, in which she took part for not one, not two, but three consecutive years, each time ending up just shy of the champion. When the perennial runner-up finally decided to give up, she was given an opportunity by musician Tse Kit to sing demo tapes for other singers. Now Cherry has received enough singing training to have her own songs, and this debut EP features six songs, including the first three plugs: "Girl School", Kam Shan Dau Yat Ching (the five words combine to form her Chinese name), and "Classic of Tomorrow".
