After the commercial success of Line Walker <使徒行者> last year, Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼) won Best Actress in Hong Kong and across Southeast Asia. TVB continued to feature Charmaine in movies invested by the station, including Triumph in the Skies <衝上雲霄> and the upcoming Line Walker. However, it is speculated Charmaine has no intentions of staying at TVB after her contract ends. Charles Chan’s Offer Goes To Waste After Richard Li’s (李澤楷) Hong Kong Television Entertainment received their broadcasting license, the station has been recruiting artistes. One of the top choices is Charmaine. To persuade Charmaine to stay at TVB, Chairman Charles Chan (陳國強) personally invited the actress for a group dinner. Unfortunately, Charles was unable to persuade Charmaine, who did not show any intentions of renewing her contract. Frustrated, Charles left dinner in a foul mood. Charles also invited many artistes to dinner to improve morale. TVb has no bridge to begin with. However, I do agree that even if you hated tvb for any reason, it should not be shown out .
This is the other side of actors, they use the company to make a name of themselves, once they succeed, they can do whatever they want, some don't care what those companies had done for them cause both sides are just using each other to make profits/fame. So, whatever...lol
