Charlene with her book of fatherly love " Single's Love" Charlene did not want her father to buy sanitary towel for her Charlene Choi was interviewed by Commercial radio station yesterday. She was there to talk about her new book "Fatherly Love". She was asked about the experience of her starting her first period. Charlene disclosed that her parents were divorced. Her father offered to buy the sanitary towels for her. She was very embarrassed. She phoned her mother for help. As she was growing up, she wanted money to buy bra but didn't want to tell her father about it. She said to her father " I need to buy something, but don't ask ." Charlene revealed her father used to go abroad for business trips. Each time he brought back really good gifts. " He went to Europe once, I was hoping he would bring back brand name handbag or museum souvenirs. He got me a pair of scissors. He explained because I had a lot of problems. I could use the pair of scissors to cut up all my problems." There was another time when Ah Sa's father came back from Hang Zhou. Charlene was hoping for some colorful presents, but he got her a silk quilt. She didn't know whether to laugh or cry. Source: MingPao Translator: dragon888 @ http://www.asianvn.com

now that's being a perfect single father!!!!!! what more could you ask for out of a father! good for him in setting a great example for other fathers out there. yes his gifts are strange but they have meaning and when she got older she understood them.
