DKNY held its 2008 Spring Fashion Show in Central last night. In attendance were celebrities Charlene Choi (蔡卓妍), Theresa Fu (傅穎), Myolie Wu (胡杏兒), Kate Tsui (徐子珊), Vivien Yeo (楊秀惠), Angela Baby, Kenny Kwan (關智斌) and others. The company also invited Taiwan’s top models Lynn Xiong (熊黛林) and Patina Lin (林嘉綺) to model for their spring line. Both models were dressed daringly, with Lynn sporting a translucent bikini and Patina going braless for one outfit. After the show, Lynn expressed that she accepts the wearing of bikinis, as long as it looks pretty when worn. Having worked hard in Hong Kong recently, Lynn managed to reap in a large income, which resulted in her six-figure income tax return. She expressed that she did not mind paying tax, and it would have been even better if she had to pay a seven-figure income tax return. Charlene continued to appear by herself for work, and had to respond to the issues surrounding band mate, Gillian Chung (鍾欣桐). Reportedly, Gillian’s sex photos scandal caused the halting of filming for an upcoming movie and the delay of the group’s upcoming concert. Charlene admitted that this is a time of hardship, but the priority is to give Gillian some time to gather her emotions. Asked if she was fortunate that she did not do anything that could have caused her any regret, Charlene responded that it was not a matter of whether or not she was lucky, but rather that she had the choice of considering the possible consequences of her actions. She added that girls should consider the outcomes of not protecting themselves when it comes to relationships and winning the respect of other people. In an interview, revered writer and film-maker, Stephen Siu (蕭若元) had labelled Gillian as a “man magnet,” saying that when she does not have to film, she will spend her time text messaging men. Charlene responded that she did not want to comment on what others had to say about the situation, but hoped that everyone will give Gillian some space. It was reported that Gillian’s image had hit rock bottom, and that she is directing all her energy onto her relationship with rumoured boyfriend, Juno Mak (麥浚龍). Charlene replied that the reports were written by the media, and therefore, is not a confirmation of fact. Regarding Gillian’s newfound love, Charlene commented that this is not the time to be speaking of the matter. Juno had stated that he will whole-heartedly take care of Gillian, and Charlene admitted that she wanted Gillian and all the people in her life to find happiness. When asked if she was in the midst of love or if she has found this happiness, she chuckled and said that even if she did, she would not publicise it to the reporters. Patina said that she did know of Edison Chen (陳冠希)’s sex photos scandal, and that her former boyfriends have never requested her to take such photos. She felt that girls must know how to protect themselves. Theresa appeared in a backless outfit for the evening and laughed that she was the “protective queen”, being sure to take all precautions to prevent revealing herself. Speaking of Stephy Tang (鄧麗欣)’s public address regarding her part in the sex photos scandal and the alleged rape rumors yesterday, Theresa said that she too should make a public address clarifying her place in the scandal. There had been reports that connected her to the scandal and this had caused her much anger, because her work has been affected by the reports. She said that the reports have not only caused an inconvenience in her work, but also caused the people in her life to become concerned about whether or not she was involved in the scandal. She then stated that there was no reason that she would be a part in the scandal, and that she was innocent of the alleged reports. She boldly dared that if such photos of her could be produced, she would take intimate photos with the person who can prove the photos of her involvement in the scandal. When reporters suggested that she should follow in the steps of Jolin Tsai (蔡依林) and forfeit one million Taiwan dollars to anyone who could prove her involvement in the scandal, Theresa said that she did not have one million dollars, but she could give herself in place of the money. She expressed that she had only co-operated with Edison in the movie Nine Girls and a Ghost <九個女仔一隻鬼>, so the two of them do not know each other very well.
