Monday April 28, 2008 Hong Kong In her seventh year as the face of Longines watches, Carina Lau (劉嘉玲) attended the opening of two new outlets yesterday in Shenyang. Looking extremely radiant, Carina was met by a crowd of several hundred as she modelled some of the company's latest designs on the catwalk and launched the celebrations at the events. Reporters quizzed her on the latest developments surrounding her forthcoming marriage to Tony Leung (梁朝偉), she replied cheerily that everything was still being planned, but they hope to complete arrangements by the end of the year. She added that they are still considering the location where their wedding will be held. Asked for tips on how to maintain a loving relationship, Carina said that everyone has their own ways of loving, but from her experience, the most important element is to be tolerant of each other, because living together with another person is never easy. She added that two people sharing their lives is a fine art: "Maybe you think I am a happy and warm person, but I still have a quiet side. Maybe you see Tony as being quite reserved, but he also has a sunny and brighter side." As for whether or not she plans to have children, she said calmly that everyone has their own attitudes to life and she felt that as long as you work towards your own happiness, that is all that matters. Carina has spent a lot of time on her charity work recently and she said that she is thankful to Faye Wong (王菲) and her husband Li Yapeng (李亞鵬) for inviting her to take part in their events. "I have gained a lot from them and it has brought a lot of fulfilment and a mission to my life. When I met the 1000th child to have her cleft lip repaired a few days ago, I really felt that the world was full of warmth." Talking about her philosophy for success over the years, Carina offered some valuable words of advice: "Always keep a happy outlook, but your memory does not have to be too strong. Seek self-development in many areas, such as fashion, science, politics and current affairs and even comic books. Finally, uphold your own personality and an elegant attitude." credits: batgwa.
wtf i thought she's already married...and damn still "planning" to have kids, a few more years and it would be pretty late to have kids at their age, they might have to go adopt later.

She didn't say anything about child birth nor plans for it. By now, she is already avoiding it and perhaps she won't even 'plan' it in the near future.
Well I hope they have a very beautiful and private wedding which they can both enjoy and cherish. They've been together for a long time and i hope they will grow old together.
whoa she is that old?! and yeah producing children at that age is a health hazard, i wonder if surrogracy is an option for them =\ i doubt it though

i love leung chi wai and like her acting in the 1990s, esp. the film with gor gor and..... eek cant rmb her name lol.. (the film where the girl pretended to be a boy, and carina's role = singer named rose) think they make a great couple~
