Hi is it possible to find the owners name of the car from a number plate?

yes its possible but you'll have to see what the laws on getting the info is for where you live. it is considered personal info.

 

Im from the UK what way can i do it part from getting DVLA involved ?

 

You can't, DVLA hold all reg details and only certain agencies/companies are granted access like the police or councils/parking companies for fining you.

 

Not possible in the UK unless you are one of the government or relevant institutions. Why would you want to know the owner of a vehicle anyway? If you are hunting for debts, then go and look for companies who are specialised in that field. They can find out...
