Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II photos anyone?

Who here has the Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM lens and would like to share your photos? I will be getting mine delivered before Canada Day
I paid $2900 after tax along with the 430EX II flash; lens ($2650) & flash ($250)

18-55mm kit lens of the MK2

    i checked the prices from

    - photoprice.ca (Canada/US)
    - price.com.hk (HKG), cheapest is $17000 HKD, about $369 CAD cheaper...but that also means if you can get it to Canada (otherwise u are subject to 6% duties & 12% HST)

    Big baller!

Let me know how you like it. I've be been contemplating trading in my 24-105 for the 24-70 and getting one of those to go with it.

Wow...It's like 2200 GBP over here. Someone has some serious money ^^ After I bought a new body (50D), I have to save some money for new lenses. Target at the moment is the "new" Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 VC.

i bet everyone here has $2900 in their account right now, just whether people are willing to just spend it on a lens & a flash...but i don't have a full frame body, still using the XSi kit w/ 55-250mm (from last year) right now...

You are still using a cropped sensor? That means the lens will be a 112-480mm. Are you going to use it for sports or wildlife?

cropped sensors are cheap these days and is the same idea, if anyone here had the money for a full frame, then no money for the lens
whereas am already buying this sub-$3K lens to go with my APS-C for now (just after a year), next year will be the Extender 2.0x and maybe a full frame body, and keep my XSi with its kit lens & 55-250mm
    everything....fireworks in July for sure
