What you guys think, fuck i was using the old fashioned method of salt on wound but its only temporarily effective and you will pretty much experience some of the worst pains for like 10 mins. Rinse with the Hydrogen peroxide and relief but heard bad things about damage to your gums/teeth etc. Pretty much oatmeal/salads and egg whites for last three days-cry2
Have you tried mouthwash that has those bacteria fighting stuff in it? Surely those things can help clean out, and help you get used to the pain. Bonjela is another solution. I thought hydrogen peroxide is something that you dye your hair with? LOL never knew it was safe to put in the mouth! haha The salt method, have you tried diluted salt water and swig it around your mouth like a mouth wash? I always get told by mum to do that when i have some sort of ulcers and stuff in my mouth. I'm just wondering if the same applies for wisdom tooth growing pains where the teeth is grinding against the side of my mouth? Coz atm I am in agony and my face is swollen baaaaaaaaaaad times!
[ame="http://www.amazon.com/Hydrogen-Peroxide-Antiseptic-Solution-Bottles/dp/B000TZ769Y"]Amazon.com: Hydrogen Peroxide 3% First Aid Antiseptic Solution 16 oz. Case of 12 Bottles: Health & Personal Care@@AMEPARAM@@http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/31MDnnk%2B8xL.@@AMEPARAM@@31MDnnk%2B8xL[/ame] oh man wisdom teeth growing pain are the worst i had them on both sides and never removed it, pretty much a hole in my gum. My face was swollen for a week. You should check whether that hydrogen peroxide 3% solution is safe for wisdom teeth wounds too. Lol but rinsing with salt is nothing to me. Applying it directly to the wound though wow. Makes you wanna piss yourself its like eating with the sore pain x 10. lol. I have done that every morning for the last 3 days and pain doesn't get better each time.
this could help you out http://dentistry.about.com/od/basicdentalcare/f/cankertreatment.htm there's a list of remedies you could try apparently clove oil works as its anathestic (god knows how to spell that!) well apparently those hydrogen peroxide has to be mixed with water, but i have no clue where to buy them. in fact i am too poor to afford any of that shizzz... looks like LOTS of hot tea for me :(
i found it in the grocery story for a little over 50 cents....its not expensive at all... I heard all the methods and decide to go with this one but its basically bleaching your mouth...
the things in grocery stores in US is 100% cheaper than the ones in UK. I can't even afford 10 pence noodles that's how poor i am! Surely strong antiseptic mouthwash should work. My mum has random canker sores and she uses them for a couple of days and she feels better and she doesn't talk for a good few days so that she doesn't make the sores any worse. Maybe speak or move your mouth as little as possible? LOL
i speak funny right now, trust me. But damn i'm sure you can just pick up dropped coins and buy the hydrogen peroxide? Okay i bit myself in the same spot while eating.....the pain went down but future infection...omfg hopefully the hydrogen peroxide can prevent that.
Go see the doctor. I always get them during exam time. They gave me something called Oracort, or Triamcinolone Acetonide. It's some oily sandy paste that you apply at bedtime. They heal mine within 1-3 days. They go away normally in about 10 days, so I think you'll wanna go see that doctor
So far as I can remember, salt solutions for oral rinsing are to be the equivalent to physiologic saline, that is, the same amount of salt that's in your body's liquids or blood. If you put too much salt, then it's going to hurt. The correct amount is about one teaspoon of table salt to one pint of water. The correct amount of H2O2 (Hydrogen Peroxide use 3% solution) is to mix it with equal parts of water, which can then be used as a mouthwash during outbreaks of oral lesions. This is only good for short durations (ie 3-4 times a day for a few days). Persistent, prolonged or routine use is not recommended. On another note, I'm not doubting your claim of the canker sores (aphthous ulcerations). However, given that there are many other clinical entities that may be confusingly similar in appearance; I would thus remain wary. Chancre (which sounds alike, but is actually a lesion associated with syphilis), Chancroid (caused by Haemophilus ducreyi), and oral Herpes outbreaks (cold sores and from putting ones mouth on the wrong thing), all resemble cankers in many ways. Additionally, frequent, persistently recurrent oral lesions may also be indicative of occult or hidden systemic disease. Thus I agree with what The Jelly advised; see your doctor. Only a health professional can properly diagnose and recommend a course of treatment. As it is, you're just flying blind and taking the advice of people (us forum users) who may or may not be trained to provide the same level of expertise. At any rate, I hope you feel better soon, and Good luck
Its in the middle of my jaw pretty much and i dont have STDS(dont scare me like that)!!!! But anyways there is definite relief from the H2O2 solution no doubt and yeah i heard the side effects is it can pretty much affect your tooth enamel and etc. The salt solution seems pretty hard to mix. Thank you by the way, woke up and still felt it lucky for h202 i got rid of the pain without feeling a greater pain though. But now i also wonder is mixing h202 like mixing acid with water in which you should add h202 to water instead of the other way around?
Frankly I was more concerned that something like Stevens Johnson or Pemphigus vulgaris be missed. STD's while annoying, are generally not chronically troublesome (unless it's Herpes) or deadly (unless it's HIV/AIDS). Still, it's always better to know exactly what you're dealing with, even if you suspect it to be benign; ie. Better Safe Than Sorry, right?
awwww kung kung....there there....shouldnt you be taking the pain like a real man...?...pwhaha -whistle.. whuts wrong anyways....canker sores..?...do you mean ulcers...? but then i read lower down something about widom tooth pain...?..
I thought pain signified there was a problem unless your tooth hurts for the fun of it >.< Worse case scenario is root canal, i narrowly escaped it, i was about to tell em to yank the thing out cus root canal looks to painful and im one of them guys who seems to be immune to local anaesthetic.
It is definitely obvious that you are either still very young or you have never experienced the agony of wisdom tooth growing pains.
