I know a few of my friendswho took braces and never bothered to go back to th doctor for the tightning. I was too lazy for it also, and its been like a year lol. was wondering if you know the metal piece under your teeth. does it ever come off? or it stays on forever.
whats up with your title, i cant make sense of it. Go dentist and get it tightened to avoid future issues.
if you don't tighten it how are you suppose to fix your teeth? and i missed an appointment once and got booked for it...they billed me...y would uget bracess when u don't even wanna take care of ur teeth
no i went tons of times, everytime was just tightning, took like a minute. so i didn't bother going anymoe.
haha,2years ago,i went to an orthodentist for my teeth and he told me that i would have to wear it for 5years min...wth?i was 17year old at the time...sooo happy,my mum accepted that i don't wear these... Anyway,dude,you should tighten it each time,otherwise it's kinda useless!!!
You are suppose to go back every few weeks or months (depending how long and what type you are getting) to get tightened, although i only had mine on for 3 months but i had to go back 2 or 3 times to get it tightened
Lol....never had braces... when i was in highskool i felt "too cool" to have em... which i sorta regret now... but hey who cares lol anyway, if i were u id call ur dentist to ask for an appointment... braces cost shitloads of cash (in nl) plus now u look like a bandgeek for no reason....! Had them for 10mths, supposingly for 2 years but went to tighten my braces frequently so it made progress. Plus I was young and teeth were easily adjusted
i had them for 2 years, but if u tighten them regularly then u can get them off quicker. As for ur other question, i never had a metal thing behind my teeth, so im not sure what ur talking about. Do u mean retainers?
I had them for a year and a half. The small metal wire behind your front teeth is permanent, or it is for me atleast.
lol people who don't go for tightenings are retards. you pay that much to get you fucking teeth straightened out. you're gonna be wearing them for longer, the longer you don't tighten. might as well just not wear them in the first place. and don't even both with the metal wires if you don't intend to tighten. they stay with you for life and keeps your teeth straight forever. but who am i talking to? i shouldn't even care for your teeth. anyways, on a side note, for those who don't know, metal wires are placed behind your front teeth to keep them in that position indefinitely. the bad thing about retainers is that once you stop wearing them, they shift back to their original location prior to braces. also, you don't even feel the metal behind your teeth.
fail thread you fail at -making threads -being a patient -getting your teeth fixed so if we don't tighten the braces, how the fcuk do you think your teeth will get aligned? and I'm pretty sure your orthodontist also fails. and you guys that says the metal wire stays forever. I'm got bad news for you guys lol but you guys got fcuked over. I had the worst teeth alignment at age 10, had braces, retainers, elastic bands that goes everywhere, 2 surgeries. And I don't have any metal brace forever... Just my mouth and my teeth.
wtf, how can your friend's not go back for tighting, that is like a crucial aspect toward braces and your apperance LOL . i am sure, the metal thing does not stay on forever. but i know for a fact, after having braces taken off, you will need to wear some type of bands every night to hold your teeth together (forever) :box:
are you goin to give me a white chocolate coookie? ill promise to brush me teeth after on a side note...i hope the OP is not dumb enough to not go to tighten appointments............i am thinking that he just sucks at writing and not being specific his situation rather concentrating on the metal piece behind his teeth... maybe he meant after 2 years of braces he took them out and the orthodontist puts the wires behind his teeth and wants him to go back after 6 months to check his teeth but too lazy to go back... correct me if im wrong
