I never liked the whole windows live idea. Especially how they can play with 360 users. I'm not too keen on getting owned by a 13 year old with a keyboard and mice while I have a controller.
If they offer a service that is good enough, then i am willing to part with my money, but i personally dont like the idea behind xbox live, i mean your paying money so you can keep track of your stats.... but you get a better overall infrastructure so i dunno, im split.
ye i mean the online system for the xbox 360 is a lot better than the ps3 but then again it does cost. on the other hand i don't think u should pay for pc games and the pc format and xbox format should not be linked together as with some games a mouse could be better and for others an xbox controller. so tech it would be unfair. also, u didn't use to have to pay to play against other ppl online so why now.
^yeh i guess for consoles its an ok move, because the infrastructure was just never there but PC online games have been around for ages, and it works as it is, being free too i dont wana pay for something that i already get for free which does the job too
ye exactly thats why its just gonna be rubbish. what next, sooner or later if they get crazy they might start charging for using msn messenger live as it is called now.
