A British boy sitting down to breakfast had a nasty surprise when he discovered a two-foot long snake inside his box of cereal. Jordan Willett, 5, thought he had found a toy when the serpent -- a harmless corn snake -- slithered out of the packet of "Golden Puffs" his parents had bought from discount store Netto in Telford, central England. "It was quite long and popped its head up. I've seen snakes on TV before but never in a box of cereal," he told the Daily Mail newspaper. Netto said Wednesday it was talking to its suppliers to review procedures and check on its stock. "This does seem to be a bizarre incident but we are treating it seriously," said Netto trading director Clive Cooper. Corn snakes, which feed on mice and birds, are commonly kept as pets.
actually now that you think about it, its probably better that they found the snake alive. cuz that means the cereal was packed recently..fresh. if the snake was found dead and partly decayed..problems.
no no. im talking about the company. them packing it and then putting it in cold storage until they ship it. or put it on the shelf..hmph
well couldnt the snake just eat the cereal? that would keep it alive but there is the air issure... it does have sharp piercing teeth though in its attempt to escape it could of made air holes. anyways did anyone hear about the dude who found a finger in his thingy i forget wat it was puding or something, then the owners were like yeah someone did lose afinger at the factory... lol i like the fact that they knew and let them still sell it =)) hahaha thats messed up
