The 2007 Metro Radio Children's Song Awards ceremony (新城勁爆兒歌頒獎禮 2007) was held yesterday at the Island Resort Mall and hosted by Metro DJ Nancy Sit (薛家燕). Among the guests and award winners were many TVB artistes, including Bosco Wong (黃宗澤), Myolie Wu (胡杏兒), Raymond Lam (林峯), Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣), Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼) and Bernice Liu (廖碧兒). Despite the recent rumours of a secret date between Bosco and Myolie following the TVB anniversary show, the rumoured couple were happy to pose together for photographs and Bosco explained that it was actually a producer's birthday on that day and the celebration was also attended by many other artistes such as Mimi Lo (羅敏莊), Power Chan (陳國邦) and Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎). When it was suggested that he and Myolie were also being considered as a couple by their friends, he laughed that this was not the case and that he and Kevin are the real couple. Asked whether or not the company were comfortable with them dating, so this enabled them to appear together all the time, Bosco said that this was not the case and that they were only a couple for money-making purposes. When the reporters accused him of treating Myolie as a money tree, he laughed that in fact he is the money tree for his mother because he will only give his earnings to her. As for the fans being very accepting of them being a couple, Bosco said this was good because it means they will make even more money from it. Myolie said that having a meal together is no big deal and it was Kevin who had arranged the party on that evening because everyone had to eat after work. When it was joked that she should hide away to avoid being photographed with Bosco, she said that there was no need because they were just going for a meal with friends and on that night, Kevin had won HK$40,000 and so had offered to pay for a meal. Raymond has been celebrating the successful sales of his debut album Love Seeking You In My Memory <愛在記憶中找你> and when he appeared at a signing of his record at a Causeway Bay store earlier, he met fans who had travelled from Guangzhou and Japan to meet him and buy many copies of his album. He also met some older granny fans who praised him for his acting and singing talents. He said that as he has no filming for the next couple of months, he will be devoting the time to promoting his album and meeting his fans.
