Since their breakup in July 2012, Bosco Wong (黃宗澤) and Myolie Wu (胡杏兒) have rarely been in touch with each other. Tabloids speculate that Myolie initiated the breakup due to Bosco’s flirtatious ways and refused to get back together although Bosco asked for reconciliation several times. Another reason for the ex-couple’s poor communication is reportedly due to money issues. Earlier, Bosco reportedly transferred his portion of investments from Heng Yuk Company over to Myolie. This includes a $3 million HKD flat located in Jubilee Garden, Sha Tin. Bosco’s move led to negative rumors about Myolie asking for a house and being too harsh on her ex-boyfriend. Reportedly, Myolie’s friends could no longer put up with the misunderstanding and revealed Bosco was only returning what he had borrowed from Myolie when they had been dating. According to Myolie’s friends, Bosco owed Myolie $5 million HKD in total. In the past, he borrowed $3 million HKD to purchase a new flat and $1 million HKD to invest in stocks. Bosco also purchased a Benz that cost over $800,000 HKD as a gift for Myolie, but it turned out he only gave the partial down payment and Myolie had to pay the rest of the fees. Thus, Bosco’s current transfer of the $3 million HKD flat is just returning what he previously borrowed. In fact, he reportedly still owes Myolie $2 million HKD. Bosco Wong: “I never Owed Myolie Money!” After the heartbreaking breakup with Myolie, Bosco has been fully devoted to his filming career and advancing his business investments. He recently opened his new seafood restaurant, Oystermine, in Kowloon City. When questioned about the flat transfer and money issues, Bosco seemed clueless. “What money? I really don’t know. Ask my mom. I don’t handle these things, my mom does.” He added that he did not wish to disclose why he transferred the flat to Myolie. “These are such private matters. We don’t need to inform everyone about purchasing a flat.” Furthermore, Bosco denied reports about making large stock investments and said reporters were fabricating things. Speaking of owing Myolie money, Bosco exclaimed, “Why do I need to borrow money from her? I never had financial issues.” At a promotional event today, Bosco continued to dodge questions as to why he sold the property to Myolie. But he denies speculations that he had lost money in stocks. Myolie Pleads for Rumors to Stop On her Weibo blog, Myolie expressed her exasperation with the constant false rumors involving her and Bosco. Myolie wrote, “No one owes me money. In all my past relationships, I have been financially independent. I truly don’t understand; we have already broken up for a long time–why is everyone afraid to look forward? I really don’t want to see or respond to any false reports and don’t want reporter friends to constantly ask whether I have sent blessings on [his] birthday, whether I will eat at his restaurant, etc. I want to say that I sincerely, sincerely, sincerely wish Bosco the best and happiness in his career, business, and love, is that okay?” Creds: Oriental Daily
