Midas <點金勝手> leading man, Bosco Wong (黃宗澤), will have to take a break from filming for several days after a haphazard accident inside his bathroom at home. After bumping into the bathroom door and injuring his nasal bones, Bosco suffered from an immediate nosebleed and swelling. Since the swelling cannot be hidden with makeup and would appear obvious onscreen, Bosco will rest at home for a few days until he recovers from the injury. Bosco said his injury “hurt a lot” and that producer Chong Wai Kin was very understanding of his situation. Since Bosco has the most scenes with Kate Tsui (徐子珊) and Nancy Wu (胡定欣) in Midas, a rescheduling of their scenes together may be necessary. “I will have to treat them out for meals,” Bosco apologized. Fortunately, Bosco’s injury occurred several days after his music performance with good friend Tang Chi Wai at the Sundown Festival and the 2013 TVB Anniversary Gala, otherwise he may have been unable to participate in the festivities. In related news, Bosco received notice from TVB that artists should not accept interviews with Next Media, which has been blacklisted by the station. In 2011, Bosco was photographed nude at home by Sudden Weekly, a publication owned by Next Media. This year, TVB’s relations with Next Media tensed as TVB felt that the media outlet portrayed the station in a negative light since the Hong Kong government rejected HKTV’s license application. Bosco said that he will follow TVB management’s notice issued earlier today. “After I was secretly photographed at home, I’ve been scared to open the curtains at home.
