i can nvr pick up and read a book .... and the bible is just going too far

For those people who dont like "The Bible"
Just read it as like a fiction book... It's actually quite interesting... not all of them but some stories are pretty cool

I could never read the Bible its too long and the pages are very thin I could rip them easily coz I can be a bit clumsy and the words are too small for me >.< but I gotta admit the stories are great -^_^

The whole thing? personally i think the Bible is really boring but i learn the Words of God through devotions. They're more interesting.

Man you guys don't know what your missing. The bible has more violence and death than any hardcore rated R movie.

 

The Bible is supposed to have 2 purpose, to spread the Words of God, our creator and serves as a history book so we can learn, understand so we can come to the realisation of what is right and wrong. It helps prevent us from making the same mistakes our ancestors made.

 

Does it really ?
I will just mention 2 examples of the great deeds done by THE followers of Bible
(CATHOLICS)
1. They sold forgiveness and made it into a bussiness. You would have to buy a certificate and your sins were forgiven.
2. Years of coverup of Priest who were child molesters.

 

Form my experiences when you focus and mediate on the words in the bible, it's like fulfilling the human desire in life.

I've read part of the bible, not in its entirety. I do agree that it is like a collection of myths, or fables.
Thus, I still think religion is a scam in the sense that they sell forgiveness. When one confesses, one would be forgiven. I don't handle that well AT ALL. Though I do agree reading the bible make one's life seems to be smoother, since one will easily be convinced that any ill-fate is a challenge, and should one NOT prevail, it's just to be a lesson learned. I despise the fact that it got all its base covered, it wins or you lose.

HOw does the bible make your life smoother, anyway? I tried reading it but got a headache after reading the first page

 

i had to read it back in grade school but never really believed in anything it says... but then i dont believe in religion
