Like most people out there that have money in shares / funds I have been hit bady over the last 2-3 weeks. My portfolio has gone down 6%, of course it's better than 1 week ago when it was down 10%

Does anyone know a better way to get more than the banks 5% interest without much risk ?? And I mean legally !! No loan sharks !! -cool

Ohh stocks, my parents play around with them alot and there are times they lose some and win some... However, my parents come from a decent rich background, they don't mind losing... They do it for fun... haha....

yeah, go to Las Vegas, Macau or Atlantic City and count cards. There is definitely no risk there if you know what you're doing.

Um, I can't help you with the investment there. You gotta know what you are doing before you invest like counting cards in order to lessen the risk.

Real estate are really good especially in Canada.... It's going up like wildfire... However, you need lots of money to start up...

The real estate in HK is also booming, but you need big starter capital

a lot of ppl are defaulting in their variable-interest rate mortgages because of shot up in interest rates and not that many people are buying homes in the U.S. so you can probably buy a cheap house in U.S.

Sorry to say, but there are no free lunches in life. With hard work and little bit of luck you will reach your goal. It might be just a temporary setback on the stockmarket. As long as you have done your homework and still belief in the stocks/funds you bought you can wait till better times.

clearly think about how to invest your money. I dont know much but i read a lot of articles and the world is looking at a weakening dollar, and plus that China stock drop last three weeks or so is taking its toll on your portfolio i guess. Real estate isn[' bad but u need high capital. the rich get rich the poor stay poor, gonna have to be lucky and catch some breaks. start a company...that can get you good returns if you succeed.
