I'm about to get a smartphone, which has is using Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) Should I upgrade my phone to (Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean) ? Will there be any benefits for upgrading? Like no error bugs, more new features, faster... I cannot find information on this. Thank you.
Leaps and bounds. There's a lot of quality of life improvements and the newer Android OSes basically bridge together the phone and tablet exclusive features that segregated Android.
Ok, I'll play with it first!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm going to get (LG Opitmus NET) I don't know how to upgrade. Do I just follow this video? www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYEEhCPyepk
I think that if our getting a normal android phone not made by Google it is inevitable that updates will come out at a slower rate. So it is important to check that the manufacturer has released the update. Or I guess u can always root the device but there are risks involved and the newer update may make the device run slowly and therefore it may not be wise to update.
