Okay, I need to gripe about this. Last week on Sunday, after the slight 'snow' in CA, I had a thin layer of ice on my 2005 audi a4. I was brushing the ice off, and I was cleaning my wipers because it had snow on them. Lo and behold, the stupid wiper blade broke off because it's held to the arm by this plastic clip. We all know that plastic cannot sustain the cold and becomes brittle, making it crazy easy to break. So immediately, I went to autozone & r & s strauss to get replacement wiper blades, but they didn't have any available at the time. So, I couldn't do anything but do it ghetto style & freaking electrical tape the wiper blades to the arm. On monday, I called up the dealer to ask if I could bring my car in to have it fixed. They told me that they were completely booked up, so the woman I spoke to asked me to not be so lazy & just go to the store and get myself a set of wiper blades. I told her that I'd already done so but none were availabe. Then, she said, since its a 2005, I HAVE to bring it in, but it'll take at least 2-3 days for them to look at. I had to go out of town on Wednesday, so I couldn't leave my car there, so I asked her how I'd be able to drive to which she said, 'I honestly don't know and don't care.' (talk about pms) <_< So I called another dealer, and I just got it fixed this evening. A simple 5 minute wiper changing, and I had to bring it to the freaking dealer. At first, the dealer told me that my warranty had expired on the wipers (they only replace them if my car is under 24,000 miles & I have 25,000). So, he's like, it'll cost 70-80 bux. I complained and said it was a monopoly and it wasn't right that they'd designed it so poorly. So, he gave me the wipers for free. But sheesh, to go through all that just for a pair of wipers? Unbelievable! Moral of the story, DON'T GET AUDI!!! -end rant.
Well, about the paying part... Were you talking to the worker? or were you talking to the manager? Because the worker ain't allow to give offer to the customer no matter how great the reason is... On the other hand, the manager can do whatever he want.
Hahaha...okay, so on the topic of Audi, my brother sonned an Audi A4 coupe while on the road this morning. So we were driving to my dad's workplace this morning (in a 00 nissan max) on the hwy and encountered an '04Audi A4 coupe.. nice reflective silver color with a soft top. The driver was a caucasian girl. She sped up next to us with this smilee.. and at first, I thought she was trying to hit on my brother so I just laughed. lol.. well, it turned out that she wanted to race him so she sped up again and cut us off aggressively. That made my brother pissed cause he hates it when people cut him off... so as a result, she pulled away from us pretty quick, cutting in and out of lanes, and we followed, tailing her an inch from her bumper going 90mph with moderate traffic. My brother saw his chance to pass her on the right, so he doubled clutched and did that..sonned her for about a 1/2 mile and then we saw a cop on our right.. immediately, my brother downshifts and applies the brakes really, really hard to slow down to about 60mph.. now to make the story short, the girl got caught and was pulled over.. meanwhile my brother and I have our windows down approaching her and grinning back. Just like this -----> -bigsmile Anyway, I'm not here to promote racing or anything.. but man, she did deserve it for cutting us off like that.. P.S. "shy" I'm sure you're a way better driver than she is in that A4 haha..
sigh, too bad i was really thinking about buying an audi because they looked so sleek and luxurious, but after this rant i don't think i wanna go into getting pissed off with my car. lol
ahahah I only son people; people don't son me. Besides, I always have my V1. The girl is stupid... for god's sake, she drives an A4. She'll get spanked by a Corolla, let alone a Maxima? I would never subject myself to such embarrassment in my A4. I'm embarrassed enough having to drive that POS car to start with. But the next time you decide to tailgait somebody, think about how wrecked the front end of your car would be when he/she decides to stop short.
I personally do not like Europeon cars. I drive a 2004 BMW and there are so many little problems like trouble starting the engine and light malfunctions. Gonna get a Lexus IS350 or something for my next car.
well at least u got your problem resolved. I've had problems with Acura and its stupid. I made an appointment and went in to fix a manufacture recall. and they wouldn't even replace the item, saying that oh unless it breaks we wont fix it. HELLO! its a manufacture recall, doesnt this sound like a lawsuit$$$$$ coming up in the future if something were to happen due to the car.
