There are SO many chinese artists with weird names: Alien Sun (aka Paulyn, which is another weird name) Mango Wong (guess mangos are her favorite fruit) Cherrie Ying (my sister's name is grape) Rain Li (was it raining when she was born?) Bobo/Coco/Dodo/Yoyo Alec Su (I think he meant Alex) Kingdom Yuen (what the hell?!) Evergreen Mak (sounds like an airline) Deep Ng (as opposed to shallow?) Cutie Mui (hey, cutie!) Gallen Lo (my middle name is liter) Louisa So (short for Louisiana?) Juno Mak (guess he's a big fan of juno, the e-mail) Myolie Wu (how do you even pronounce that?) Race Wong (is that a name or a command?) Pinky Cheung (my last name is actually thumb) Emotion Cheung (but you can call me feelings) Fish Leung (lol. just pure lol) Bowie Lam (reminds me of Bowser from super mario) Moses Chan (why not Jesus?) Sherming Yiu (what is a sherming?) Endy Chow (guess he didn't really know how to spell Andy) Elva Hsiao (reminds me of "elf") Gillian Chung (as in fish gills? Isn't it supposed to be Jillian?) race from 2R and Hebe from SHE BOTH of these people got pwned by their respective companies and got suckered into adopting that name just so that the name of their group could have some meaning. cause NO PARENT IN THE RIGHT STATE OF MIND WOULD NAME THEIR CHILD RACE OR HEBE!!!
Well that's why I love HK names so much, I think they're very unique - they try to retain a chinese aspect to it while integrating with english and therefore the result is an original and unique name - not 'stupid' as the title of this thread states it haha lol

Some on my mind right now: [Cutie Mui]-unsure okay... [Evergreen Mak]-what? sounds like a kind of x-mas tree...everygreen...lol [Bondy Chiu]-ohmy that's just...wow.. [Kingdom Yuen]--noclue i guess she got it from her chinese name.. [Yoyo Mung/Chen/etc.]-This is like a common hk english name...ppl even use this in series...it reminds me of a yo-yo-lol [Bosco Wong]-I like him and all, but his english name kills. I like his chinese name. It sounds special, but his english name sounds like a doggy.-ohmy [Tavia Yeung]-well, her name is kinda weird-unsure [Myolie Wu]-wat kinda name is that? [Deep Ng]--shock [Gillian Chung]-Jillian?? [Leila Tong]-Well, her name isn't that bad, but I never heard it before. She used to be Lena Kwong, but then she changed her name. Chinese-Tong Ling original name-Kwong Lai Na. [Sammul Chan]-It should be Sammuel. But the funny thing is when he was like 12 or 13, he wrote Sammul on the form or something, and he sticked with it.-sweat I mean, it's like 8/10 artists' have a weird name.
I think the worst English name I've heard of so far is Cutie. Why on earth would you want to call yourself cutie??? Second would be Bobo, reminds me of something you would name a teddybear or your pet.
I really dun care my list too long I think they either lazy of just bad english by the way i really think rain and deep is a very stupid name.
What about the director: 陳果 (Chan Gor), he goes by Fruit Chan. I guess it makes sense given his Chinese name but to name yourself fruit is just silly.
People named Jesus? Tha would be weird for job interviews and like forms you got to fill out.... =.=;;;
