whoever did this was probably pretty messed up mentally... i wonder if it was midterm exam stress that pushed them over the edge.
update* 22 people were shot, 4 died on scene 2 died in hospital, several critically injured 4th school shooting in the US in the last week.. wtf is going on?
Not enough gun control. too much gun control, not enough attention to students with histories of violence, too much intervention in the lives of students with violent histories, too many video games leading to real life violence, not having access to games to release violent tendencies... blah blah blah people will speculate all they want. in the end some people are just fucking insane and no one can do shit about it until they blow up and hurt others.

Sigh, I don't get the whole gun thing, what's so good about having a gun? So far, nothing great have been seen from the non-existent gun control, and all the pro-gun groups were just pulling the "freedom" stunt... It just annoys me when the evidence is clear that access to guns require controlling and nothing is being done.

damn another fucking shooting...these people are cowards for wanting to kill others before killing themselves...i mean it's most likely random killings too, not like those are his worst enemies that ruined his life and shit. if they want to rid of their misery just commit suicide and not harm others...
Well, I am sure the damage wouldn't be as bad if he only has a knife. The odds would have been way better for the victims.
but if you kinda think like those people how could you inflict the most damage to the most people in the least amount of time? of course a gun...a knife would inflict as much damage or pain or suffering as a gun would
That's the point. If gun control is tighter (for example, not give out guns as an incentives for opening an account at a certain bank?) the access would be reduced. And the consequent suffrage would be reduced. You don't hear this kind of school shooting (or shooting of any kind, save those robbery and such) happening in Hong Kong now do you?
