It really pisses me off when i buy a new Tee and it shrinks after the first wash..is there any way to prevent this?
always read the labels that tell what u can do or not to do .... if it doesnt have these it probably means the clothin u hve a fake or cheap version -lol http://www.apparelsearch.com/care_label_symbols.htm#specialdry3 Edit: - Useful Article http://205.147.50.50/q_view.php/35799
lol wtf... are you just learning how to wash your clothes dragon? how do you get cheap or fake white ts?? -shrug -lol
its basic common sense ... like sumthing we learned in school read the labels !!!! by fake i was referin to fake shirts and stuff u can get in HK mong kok for example -lol (fake brands or cheaper versions of the named brands)
you really think im going to do that?? oh wait, so if I wash it with cold water, it wont shrink as much? maybe I'll buy extra large clothes...knowing it will shrink
hmm we've grown knowledgeably now have we..?? but really though... heard it actually works from a clothing care forum. plus it's been said that people of early 17th century used the technique...
Yeah washing clothes in cool water helps. Also if you are not lazy, hang your clothes out to dry instead of throwing them in the dryer. And I second what Dragonloaded said. Sometimes it depends on the brand.
but really when it comes to Tees u should alwasys buy one or two sizes bigger. but the damn collars always manage to stretch out
Are the Tees 100% cotton? Because Cotton shrinks a lot. So if you're planning to buy em a couple sizes bigger make sure it's the same brand or material. Or else they might not shrink and you'll be stuck with the humongous Tees. lols
i think its just the brand...some tees shrink and some dont...but one time, i bought these two shirts of the same brand, one shrank and one didnt, it the same washer...
