Currently Di Ren Jie is currently location shooting in Hengdian, there was news that Andy Lau was afraid of been infected with Influenza A (H1N1), he shot a total of 6 days before returning to Hong Kong, whereas leaving the action scenes to his body double. On 17 May, the reporter found out that Andy’s body double is John Du Yi-heng from Chengdu, he accepted a phone interview with the reporter. “When both of us were standing in front of the crew members, they could not differentiate who is who! Especially every time we had put up our makeup, the crew members would mistaken me as Andy.” John told reporter that since he joined the shooting for Di Ren Jie in April, he had injuries on most part of his body throughout these two weeks. “So tired, we shot throughout the night almost everyday.” John exclaimed that all the fighting, weapons and hanging on wires….all these dangerous scenes resulted in injuries, being the long term body double for Andy, he came to a conclusion of aching legs at the end of the day. Many people admired John to be able to become the body double of Andy, but only he himself know the pain, he said: “Being the body double of a celebrity is not easy! The director’s requirement will be very high, even I’m just the body double, every small movement must also be perfect, because I’m the body double of a superstar.” John revealed that it’s most difficult to learn the stare of Andy which he had put in a lot of effort. Due to his resemble to Andy, John had many movie offers, but his greatest aim is to get away from the images of Andy.
