Thursday November 1, 2007 Hong Kong Eason Chan (陳奕迅) gave the eighth performance of his Moving On Stage 1 concerts yesterday on Halloween night, giving the audience a surprise as Andy Lau (劉德華) made an appearance as his guest performer for the evening. At around 11pm, Andy left the audience seating and headed backstage, joining Eason on the stage for the encore section in the last half an hour of the show. When Eason announced Andy to the audience, they were whipped into a frenzy and all stood up as the two men hugged each other numerous times on the stage. This developed into kneeling and bowing to each other during their performance of Andy's song "I Hate My Loving" <我恨我癡心>. Andy then commented that Eason was a real threat because he could sing and dance so well. Eason pointed out that Andy would only be appearing once and also joked about the near-miss that Andy experienced during his own concert in Shanghai, when he was left hanging in the air, laughing that Andy was still hanging around in Shanghai. Andy laughed that tickets for Eason's concert were too hard to get hold of, so he could only get into the one show. Eason also wished Andy success with his concerts. credits: batgwa.
