My son saw this when it first came out and he said it was awesome. The dialogue is hokey; but the action was the best he'd ever seen.
yup. Been there for 4 yrs then i switched to the Nation guards... I went to FT. Jackson for basic...what is your MOS and what branch are u in? Basic is harsh for the first week from what i remember...but after a week or so, ull get used to it...it's gonna be fun. Hope you're fit and rdy for those PTs..lol.
nice, you still in (national guard)? yea man im ready. so far i can do 18 deadhang pull ups, 85 pushups at once and 20 minute 3 mile. not the greatest, but enough for me to be qualified for OCS - i already have my BA, but im enlisted (for now). been doing quite a bit of hiking as well to get my endurance up. im doing Marines, heard it's got the hardest basic and that's the primary reason i joined. ill have first choice for MOS this summer - will be thinking of avaition or engineering.
dam, those are some nice results. In the army, we only need to do a 2 mile run, push ups and situps...we dont need to do pullups....my max was 79 push-ups, 81 situps and a 14minutes 2 mile run.....but that was years ago when i was younger..lol.....So you're becoming a leader, dam.......currently, i'm only a E5, sergeant... yes, the marines outta all the branches is the hardest.. The marines gotta do what a Spec-ops/delta forces/rangers gotta do...or close to it, not that extreme tho. yup, i'm still in the NGs so i can continue my education; I got two MOSs. One was 11B, infantry and my current one is 25B, signal ...Aviation and engineering is good, just make sure it's not combat engineer where u will be doing EODs or bomb disposal unless u really wanna do it..Anything combat is life risky unless you're like me, an all American American...lol. JKing.... my ETS is near tho..not planning to renew my contract..lol. i had my fun....enough is enough
I remember way back when, we ran 2 miles in 12 mins, as a platoon. Damn, that was a long time ago, LOL... Now, I'm lucky to be able to walk around the block.
Saw this movie yesterday, the action was awesome and I like the first person gun scenes, it felt like a first person shooting game... The plot was nothing special, acting was all that too. It's really all about the action and they were really good at it.
