Alex Fong & Gillian Chung At "The Fantastic Water Babes" Press Conference Alex Fong, Gillian Chung, and 'Prince of Diving'', Tian Liang, appeared at the press conference of new film, "The Fantastic Water Babes", yesterday at a swimming pool. Being a rumoured couple, Alex and Gillian were seen having conversations with each other before the event, yet they did not interact during the function. Gillian wore a bikini top at the event, and she frankly revealed that for the sake of filming TFWB, she has been working hard to lose weight. Even with her vegetarian diet, Gillian said that she still needs to lose weight on the lower part of her body. Then is she not afraid that being too skinny would cause her to not look good in a bathing suit? She said, "My body figure is still present. I won't be resting at all for the coming three months because of work. (Isn't that way too hard on you?) I'm pretty sustainable. (Will you ask Alex to teach you swimming techniques?) I am going to get a female coach; you don't regard Alex as a female, do you?! It'll be more comfortable with a female coach. (Does it feel embarassing working with Alex?) Rumours are made by the media. Since Tian Liang and I are from the same company, why don't you guys make rumours of me and him? (After filming this movie, will you become good friends with Alex again?) We've always been friends. (Then will you become a couple?) I'm not responding to that." Alex frankly expressed that he does have many scenes with Gillian in the film, but they will not be getting intimate. When asked about Gillian wearing a bikini top, Alex said, "I saw it already! They made a good choice of asking for me to be in the film because besides being part of the cast, I can be a coach, or even a lifeguard if someone is drowning. (If Gillian and Eva Huang fell into the water, who would you save first?) I'll answer that question after the movie is done filming. However, if you asked me if I'd save my wife or my mother first, then I wouldn't know how to answer. (Why were you fidgeting when taking a photo with Gillian?) I was just following instructions of the workers. (Did you notice Gillian's slimming outcome?) Yes, she has made progress. It'll be okay if the director feels it's okay. Acting isn't about body figure; your shoulders or your feet don't know how to act. (Will you be contacting with Gillian more?) For work purposes, but not personally. (Will you be getting together again?) This is our first time collaborating. Our chemistry on-screen will also be a first." As for having to wear swimwear in the film, Alex said, "It's going to be hard to be as fit as Stephen Fung! I'm really anticipating on collaborating with Tian Liang; I could possibly jump from Hong Kong level to International level. (When the rumours came of Gillian resigning from the film, were you disappointed?) I would have been in the film regardless of who the female lead is. I am anticipating on collaborating with the director of this film. (Are you not afraid that you and Gillian will get rumours again?) We probably will, but I'm more nervous about my performance.
