Monday July 21, 2008 Hong Kong TVB new series Snooker King <桌球天王> held its costume fitting ceremony today and leading cast members Adam Cheng (鄭少秋), Niki Chow (周麗淇), Patrick Tang (鄧健泓), Joyce Tang (滕麗名) and Derek Kok (郭政鴻) introduced their characters. Rumoured couple Joyce and Derek were immediately the centre of the jokes when they appeared, with Adam calling for them to kiss and reporters asking for a photograph of them together. Although a little hesitant at first, the couple were eventually happy to pose together. Asked why they were so reserved, Joyce explained that the producer had asked them to move aside to avoid obstructing Adam's photos. Asked about recent photographs of them going to play snooker together, Joyce said that it was just for fun and there were other friends there at the time, such as Michael Tao (陶大宇). Adam was asked about his daughter Joyce Cheng (鄭欣宜) joining the cast of TVB's new sitcom, which begins airing in September after the Olympics. He said he was pleased that she had landed the role, but said he did not need to give her any advice because young people nowadays are very smart. He laughed that he did not want to nag her, but will give her a few tips, such as just thanking reporters when they ask about her personal life. Adam also said that he will be asking his assistant to record her show for her to watch back later. Asked if he felt that Joyce has a natural talent for acting, Adam laughed that she has inherited his acting genes. Niki will be playing Adam's daughter in the new series and she said that both Adam and Benz Hui (許紹雄) are jokers, so she finds it hard to keep a straight face on set. Niki said that she does not feel any pressure from working with veteran artistes because they make the atmosphere very relaxed. Niki will be playing a couple with Patrick in the new series and she said that this is a very fresh pairing. Asked if she will be giving up on rumoured boyfriend Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎) as a co-star, she said that was not the case, but she likes to try something fresh. credits: batgwa.

yeh, havnt seen a snooker series before, only a couple of films here and there, so this should be interesting. Sounds like it could b a comedy too!
