A recent video of an Angela Zhang doppelganger has been making waves on the Internet, causing much distress for the Taiwanese pop singer, who is reportedly recuperating in Taiwan after being diagnosed with a heart illness (heart mitral valve prolapse) more than a year ago. The video has "Angela" getting slapped by someone in a nightclub in China, which seemingly led to a violent gang fight afterwards. After news of the video broke loose on the internet, Angela's manager stepped forth to clarify the malicious accusations thrown at her. He reiterated that she has been resting in Taiwan the whole time, and refuted rumours of Angela being the person in the video. The singer's current heart condition causes blood to flow backwards, resulting in an overall uncomfortable, uneasy feeling. Though this condition is treatable with the help of surgery, Angela chose a second option and is currently heavily reliant on drugs to help cope with the problem. Under doctor's orders, the pint-sized 27-year-old whose last drama role was as the sweet rags-to-riches princess in last year's Romantic Princess, went on an immediate hiatus since 2008, withdrawing from concerts and numerous advertisements. She plans to make her comeback sometime next month with her latest album, many have called this entire incident a promotional stint by the company.
