hey everyone, well lately i been really confuse about my fashion style...well actually been a year now. when i was in high school during freshman and sophomore year i got really into the matching shoes like nike dunks jordans and air forces and the matching hats and clothing brand like ecko, LRG, rocawear and etc. all the GHETTO STUFF! but yea then i start to get really tire of it and just dressing whatever and then didn't care about how i look. and stopped working out and started smoking cigarrates and last week i saw my friends from high school they said what happen to you?!!?! and it made me wonder again. so ladies i would gladly appreciate if you guys will answer my question, if you can then thanks! and keep in mind any comment is accepted i dont care if is a negative comment but ill try to learn from it. i totally lost all my game talking to a girl or even hanging out with anyone girls now days don't know why!!!!! HELP! here's the question: 1.how should a guy dress? more professional not as in suits, just as in dress shirt and stuff like that with really nice watches and etc or hats with matching shoes? such as those rapper clothing brand 2.do you think a guy should smoke? or do you mind? 3.would you prefer a guy with a nice body? or just normal? and sorry if my questions are making you think WOW this guy must be an idiot or a total loser, well if you think that all i can tell you is, im not, dont get me wrong i use to be the most fitted person in school until i started hanging out with the retards. but i'm still a B student! =] thanks
1. im more into the prep/casual thing right now. diamond patterned sweaters, nice dress shirts once and a while. but also cuz its super cold out where i live usually i have a bunch of hoodies and light jackets. i honestly don't think clothing is a huge deal, as long as your shit fits you and doesn't look like it was designed for someone twice your size. ghetto ass jeans that are wide enough to fit you and three other people in them are definitely a 90's thing. I also can't stand the people who wear excessively tight clothing (not chicks though, i love girls in lulu lemon pants wahaha). I guess the main thing i can say is dress for your body size and just stay casual and cool. 2. smoking is your own decision. I personally think its stupid as hell when someone lights up. ultimately all smokers have to show for their habit is a shortened life span, potential mouth/lung cancer, yellow teeth, yellow nails, and they will smell like crap. 3. im guessing this one was directed at chicks so il let angie or dann answer it. (rereading the title i notice that the entire thread is directed at chicks, but im a fashion monger so imo my input is better than most chicks' anyway)
1. Your own sense of fashion should reflect who you are so its difficult to say how you should dress personally. I believe that it's always good to start off simplistic (nice jeans, a few dress shirts, leather jacket possibly, solid coloured sweaters) something casual and work your way from there. If you think you are more into the prep look, I think like fearless_fx, go for the diamond sweaters. If you like to be more bold, go for a funky sports jacket. Start off simple and build your character with pieces that look good on you. Matching shoes with hats to me seems a little high school to me personally & matching all brands isn't the best. Kinda makes you look like a walking advertisement. I personally like a guy who is simple but has clothing that makes him look good. Like a gray turtle neck sweater with a black leather jacket and jeans. 2. I don't like smokers personally because they bug me. Some girls may or may not prefer it so its difficult to say. 3. Body is not a big deal for me. My guy is like a teddy bear and i love him! Body is just bonus I believe =). Having a good sense of humour I find more attractive in a guy than a body. Thats the truth.

hrm....we don't have such things here in Canada. What more suggestions are you looking for? If you have a friend who is a girl, ask her to come along with you as you shop. Girls love shopping <333
at the end of the day, i think u shold just pick clothes that U like as much as us guys dress to mpress girls, theres no real point in dressing up just for a certain person, because it kinda hides who u are. i feel that whatever u end up choosing (in terms of types of clothing) reflects the person you are, and how u feel at that point in time. theres no real "right" or "wrong", its all a matter of perspective however, wen its for work/profession, u don't relaly have much choice, cos for "professionalism", u kinda just end up wearing suits or wateva for the work occasion... but outside of that, just go with what you feel. i don't really see anything that can go wrong. u are what u are, there'll always be someone who appreciates you for who you are personal opinion, i don't like any1 that smokes i don't think it looks cool... plus ur harming urself and others no point in attempting to "look cool" if ur not gonna live long enuff to enjoy it (well its not really proven that smoking definitely gives u shorter lifespan, but u get the jist... its not good for u either way)

we got valedictorians lol anyways my two cents 1) i wear whatever i can find in my closet lol. in university, i frankly dont care what i wear. i wanna pass my exams. 2) if you think youd smoke just for the image, youre going dont further than just a loser 3) i guess this is obviously for girls, but i think they think it may be a bonus

It's all about the personality. But if you want to give a good impression don't sag your pants sooo low that it looks like it's going to fall off. Just make sure the clothes actually fit.
