Thursday December 06, 2007 Hong Kong 2007 JSG Awards: Kelly & Andy Out; Susanna Kwan becomes favorite With over a month before the 2007 Jade Solid Gold Music Awards are scheduled to take place, speculation over the winners are beginning because both Kelly Chen and Andy Lau have come out to say they will not make appearances at year end ceremonies. Andy Lau makes clear that he is not attending any of the 2007 music awards, but he will continue to accept awards. He says his parents haven't been feeling well, so after his concerts he will take 2 months off to spend with his family The 2007 JSG Awards are scheduled to take place on January 12, 2008, and will be the first music award ceremony to be broadcasted in HD. With the regular Asia's Favorite Male/Female Award winners Andy Lau and Kelly Chen out of the picture it looks like Hacken Lee and Miriam Yeung will be the winners of those awards. With little competition, Eason Chan and Joey Yung appear to be the winners of the Favorite Male/Female Singer Awards. It is rumored that in order to win this award, Miriam has personally told TVB that she is willing to take part in various TVB shows. Joey and Twins continue to be contenders. As for Hacken, he will be holding his concerts in February next year, but he will take part in shoot a music special for TVB before that. As for the final big award the Gold Song Award, though not winning an award at the Round 2 ceremony, Susanna Kwan's 講不出聲 ("Heart of Greed" theme) looks to be the favorite to win. The underdogs for this award are Eason's "Crying in the Party" and Hins Cheung's 酷愛. credits: applydaily.
awww. Kelly and Andy arent going. since Kelly's not going, she's not gonna get the Asia's Favorite Female Singer Award, next in line i hope it's Miriam. i don't want Joey winning that too.
all i know is that her next event is going to be at the Golden Horse Awards. she is rehearsing for her performance there.
