The first ep was exciting, but after that, TVB has to fall back onto familial relationships and all the back stabbing that it entails. Same tired old TVB script writing in a different setting...

And, what's with the cheap ass disposable stethoscopes? Even a first year medical student wouldn't be caught dead using one of those. TVB can't even properly prop a show, LOL...

Not to split hairs, but they're actually NOT medical students anymore per se, but medical resident physicians. In the US, they're called interns, while under the British based system (which includes many former Brit possessions) they're referred to as housemen. They are legally considered doctors (as they've all graduated medical school already) albeit with almost no practical experience. Medical school graduates then become engaged in actual hands on training (by their seniors within a hospital training program), and other already licensed doctors. LINK

I liked the start than it became another one of those plots we seen so many times done by TVB...

It's a "fresh drama" though compared to what we saw for the past 3 years.

I bet you there will be a scene where a doctor cannot save someone and then they'll be like "I'm not qualified to be a doctor". Happens every time.

^...and then the love sparks between the two main characters....

i'm actually more interested in him law's relationship w/ the girl...i've seen her in the miss international pageant show, but dunno her name...she look pretty, even with the glasses.

So far so good in my opinion, I like the ethical debate between Tavia and Kenneth at the end of episode 4...both have their pros and cons

I haven't followed up with TVB for a while, is this a good drama? Don't have much free time thats why don't want to go for the wrong one.

It starts off pretty strong but then falls back on the old TVB storytelling technique of "everyone is somehow related to everyone else" then mix in the typical "Who's your daddy?" routine, and you have the typical TVB series. Oh, and be prepared to memorize "dilated pupils" as it seems to be the symptom in every episode.

Be careful, someone may come along and check your pupils whilst you're asleep; if they're just a few millimeters too wide, they may take you to the OR or start pumping on your chest, LOL... -lol
